 Why is Brazil the place to invest?

Barzil is one of the strongest economies in the world which is expected to lead to Brazil becoming the 5th largest economy by 2015. The nation are regarded as being relatively well educated and as a nation there is an overwhelming desire to own their own home, this has led to a problem which is so acute that there is now a shortage of 7 million homes and the number is rising.

New property is sold off-plan

Mortgages only became available to the middle classes in 2007 and the Brazilian Government is now supporting a 20 year new homes programme with financial incentives. New houses and apartments in Brazil are all sold off-plan, with purchasers using very large deposits to reserve a property.

The investment opportunity being offered is for investors to supply funding for 2 types of investment, both are SIPP approved. 

Investment 1                                                      1 yr 20% return

This is a 1 year fixed term contract with a minimum investment of £20,000 ($31,200) up to £160,000 ($241,600). The money is used to purchase a new build completed property and then resell the property within 1 year to one of many thousands of waiting buyers and provide a return of 20%

Investment 2                           3 year 25% return per year

Similar to investment 1 with a minimum investment of £20,000 up to £300,000 ($453,000), but this is a 3 year fixed contract but is likely to involve the purchase and sale of 2 or 3 properties over the period of the investment, the return is 25% pa.

Investment 3                       3 year 25%+ return per year

The minimum investment for this product is £240,000 ($362,400) on a fixed 3 year contract. This is a joint venture with the developer providing the funding for the building programme. The return on this product is the guarateed 25%pa, plus a share of the profit from the sale of the properties
